Itching on finasteride EOD?

Hi guys, anyone got the problem of itch still persisting if finasteride being taken EOD?

I take like 1/3 1mg pill, but my itch resumes the next day, i dont understand how is that even possible. Research says that it should last for few days, but my itch is reduced only for a day... Or could be that something else? I noticed increased itching when excercising or after taking a shower. ( i have no other hair problems, was to derm, said everything was fine ). Im on it for about 1.5 month.

even on .5mg eod the second day would have me slightly itching a couple hours before my next dose. I have basically no sides now, ever since i started dosing 1mg almost every day(maybe 1 day off during the week or 2 occasionally), which is weird because i had more sides while on .5mgeod

So you had same problem which only resolved on takign ED?

Btw, did you notice increased itch after washing head or something?

well my itchiness is non existent right now so id say ya it has resolved my problem, still get that minor itch here and there but im talking maybe once every 2 days or so. No, i dont usually notice much itching right after washing.

For me it was also intense itching and some shedding at 2-3 months.

now it's been about 6-7 months and the itching is finally pretty much gone.

I did 0,25 eod first 3 months and been doing 0,25 ed since. Hoping for some regrowth to start occurring at the one year mark or so!

Hey Axelaxelaxel did you end up getting any regrowth/stability after? I had an itchy shed that hit around 3 months that I'm still getting hit with (at 5 months now). It seems as though it's slowed slightly, but it's still there. Any reassurance would be great right now.

What causes the itching? Is it regrowth?
