I know it might just be me being stupid but I’m losing sleep over it so I would love another opinion, thanks

An increase in length is going to weigh your hair down more. Before I started losing hair my hair always felt denser when it was shorter so the length could be contributing to a thinner look. It's been said time and time again that you need to scrutinize the hair loss patterns of both sides of your family. If you have a baldy in the gene pool, you're at risk. It's a painful pill to swallow and having obsessive thoughts about it is part of the process. You will not have your youthful hair forever. Even those that keep a good portion of their hair notice a change in the hairline, density, texture, or all of the above.

As of right now, your hair looks good. Be happy and enjoy it while you can! Keep an eye on it and if you start receding further than what makes you comfortable hop on treatment and begin the fight. Keep in mind that your hair will most likely never look this good again. Aging is a difficult process and you're not alone in feeling uncomfortable with it.
