Hi guys..

I am 20 and my hair has been thinning since i was 17. Recently, I started taking fina (generic proscar - fincar) + 5% min. How do i go about the shampoos? Don't know exactly what is the right way. I'm just using regular Pantene shampoo as i don't have any itching on the scalp by taking the finasteride or min. Or should i take nizoral regardless. Also, I'm not sure if i'm applying the minoxidil the way i should. I have thin hair and on the back of my scalp there is some significant hair loss. I'm just applying the 1ml of 5% min day and night on that region(back of the scalp). Am i suppossed to put it in the other thinning areas as well? Please explain...and if i can just sustain what i have now...that is all i need.

This site is very informative and really helped me on to convincing myself to start taking care of this problem. Thanks guys.

Use nizoral 2-3 times /week anyway. It can possibly regrow by itself.

Of course. I've tried minoxidil and 1ml covered my entire scalp.

Cast another vote for nizoral. That stuff is a godsend. Use it 3x a week and don't ask any more questions about shampoos b/c that is all you need to know. Peace. :adminfinger:
