Hi, my eyebrow hair is falling down without regrowing, is this related with male pattern baldness or finasteride?

I don't know. I've seen bald old men with super thick eyebrows, and seen them with super thin ones. Super thin is more common though.
My advice: get body hair transplants to your eyebrows. They are a very small area and should not cost much. But very few docs know how to do them right. I recommend Dr A in India. See hair transplant section.
Otherwise, minoxidil should help, but may grow fine hairs above and below them.
I've read that it's more likely related to thyroid issues. Had my
thyroid checked and had no problems there. I see a lot of bald
guys with thick eyebrows so if it is related it does not affect
everyone.
Mine have gotten thicker but I've been putting a drop of minoxidil
on them for a year. It has helped but they are no where near
what there were as a teenager.
For a while I thought I might have a thyroid problem. Both my mother and my sister have had thyroid problems but they've had goitiers which is most common with Hyperthyroidism.
So I went and got my bloods tested and they came back normal. I was shocked because I believed it was certainly a thyroid problem I had. So , I went online and discovered that a lot of thyroid sufferers claim that it was easy it get mis-diagnosed. Some say they've either had to go back 2-3 times or had to go to a different GP. So its frustrating but if you deeply think you might have a thyroid disorder try and get your bloods taken by 2 different doctors.
i have a thyroid problem..and yes my eyebrows have thinned. Its a bit of a bummer. Its okay indoors and stuff but in sunnny conditions they look very seethrough. any tips on thickening them up apart from minoxidil??

It just came back after a while. I cant really explain it. My guess is that the outer part of the eyebrows are sensitive to stress or hormonal changes in the body. When the body undergoes these changes the follicles in your eyebrows switch off and stay in the telogen phase longer until the body has adjusted to the changes in your body. I dont know if thats rite, thats just my guess.
The outer HALVES of my eyebrows have been falling out since the same time I started losing my hair (about a year and a half ago) and they're been that way ever since. They're continuously falling out and looking really thin/scarce overtime. The weird thing though is that these hairs are NOT miniaturized at all. They're very thick and black healthy hairs. For some reason though it's as if they're not attached to the skin... they simply wipe off for no reason. Even strong wind can destroy 2-3 hairs at a time.

Okay , losing the outer edges of your eyebrows is a well known sign of hypothyroidism. First off get your bloods tested to see for any thyroid dysfunction. Don't get your hopes up because my eyebrows are shedding aswell. I think it's just male pattern baldness in some cases because my pubic is also shedding too. Luckily both grow back strong. I've often thought it might be finasteride too.
Yes eyebrows who cares... and hair too, who cares if you lose it? What's even the point of this site?
Eyebrows are just as important for defining your face as your hairline. People with thin or missing eyebrows look sick, like they have cancer or some other disease. People without hair.... look normal.
What a dump input! People should not ignore any unusual thing in their bodies even if it appears as silly thing it could be a symptoms for a seroius problem.
