My scalp couldn't handle Rogaine 2% or Revivogen. The skin on and around my scalp turned to leather and itched alot after two or three weeks of using each one. With Rogaine, a lot of itchy painful bumps appeared as well as peeling. With Revivogen the symptoms were milder but came on quicker. The only two things, those two solutions have in common is alcohol. So I'm thinking I may be one of the only unlucky bastards in the world that are allergic to alcohol. I've contacted Dr. Lee and he believes it was the PG in Rogaine that caused the reaction and the Azelaic Acid (spelling) in the Revivogen. So he is sending me 5% minoxidil without PG for free. I'm going to give it a shot but am nervous. Does anybody have any advice?
