I really hope I don't have gyne, because then I will be able to continue with finasteride. Plus if I'm off of it for say two weeks while I figure out exactly what is going on I think my hair will be okay...I've gained a good amount on my hairline for not even two months of taking it, so hopefully I don't lose that due to two weeks of missing it...
But I am telling you, without a doubt, that my nipples are now pointy. I am going to go to a doctor, of course. And GoldenMane, I imagine the change has been building up for two months (as long as I've been taking it). Good thing is I haven't felt any pain or itchiness, which are apparent symptoms of gyne. I've felt SOMETHING, though. FredTheBelgian, who got gyne from another medication not related to hair loss, thinks I have it. The people on the gynecomastia forum think I have it (though luckily they are telling me it should go away, especially if I get on some anti-estrogen supplements).

Even if it is gyne, I kind of would like to resume finasteride but take something simultaneously to keep my estrogen low. I know that might be a bad idea, but like everyone on these forums, I'm willing to do almost anything to keep my hair.

And yeah, I'll let everyone know what happens with the doctor.
My derm by the way didn't know whether I had it or not. She doesn't know anything about gyne. In fact when I first asked her about it, when I was getting my finasteride prescription, she said it could not happen. I also told her about a test I found on the internet, to feel if there is anything hard beneath the nipple, and she didn't know what I was talking about.
Incidentally, she also told me finasteride never stops working.
