Even hotmail now asks for an alternate email address. How is a bum on the street who walks into a public library and gets on the internet supposed to get an email address if he does not already have one? Anyone know any email providers that don't require an alternate email address?

You know, if you give them that alternate email address, they can trace it all the way back to your first one in seconds, and do at the time of sign up. They know exactly who you are. Really though, is there some kind of new law against bums having email addresses? They got to be able to get one somewhere. You can't even buy anything online without one.

Put a fake address in the field where it asks for an alternate. Hotmail or Gmail don't require a confirmation or anything.

First of all, if a tramp wanted to buy online he would most likely need a bank account. I'm sure he/she doesn't wake up on a park bench annoyed because he/she can't get an email address. lol
