How much time with minoxidil in the head?

I was wondering if when you apply minoxidil you have to let it stay in your head for about some hours for better absorption.

At the moment i´m only using minoxidil 1x per day at night before i go to sleep but i might start applying it when i wake up,then let it stay for about 5 minutes before i go take a shower before going to work.

I ask this because when i apply the minoxidil i can see my scalp and it already looks i´m already bald lol.

You should wait 4 hours until it's fully absorbed. You'll probably get most of the benefit from minoxidil after 1 hour of absorbtion.

guess you will be wasting money if you wash it off just after 5mins.

as a compromise,
(like I do) apply minoxidil as soon as you wake up, attend your nature calls, shave, read paper/take breakfast, shower after one hour.
Dr. Lee says most of the minoxidil is absorbed in the first hour (especially his fast drying minoxidil).
