13 years, damn. Its still thinning, but I bet its way better then it would have been. Thats a long time to be on a regiment, and still have enough hair to be a rock star. Good to know!

The dude from Anthrax (Ian Scott or Scott Ian or something like that?) with the shaved head pulls it off nicely though. That's the way to go. It's sad when a metalhead has thinning hair but continues to keep it long anyway.

James and Lars keep their hair pretty short so they do the best with it as they can.

Sorry Test.. But David Lee should be was 23 in 1978.. Making him 48 now. Altho you're right, he does look like he's in his late 50's.. see what I mean? In 97/98 his loss seemed stabilized and his face was still very young and wrinkle free.. now he's a bit of a fruity mess. Wonder if it was the propecia?

You got me there. The point is the guy partied his *** off in the 70's 80's and some of the 90's. He probably snorted half of Columbia up his nose and drank his mind numb. It all comes back to you later and it really shows on Daves face.

He has definalty gotten fruity in the last litle while, No Hold BBQ? What the f*** was that sh*t. At least he didnt go hiding under his bed when his hair started going.

met kerry several times when i have gone to slayer shows. never really been a fan but have accompanied friends to the shows. he can be a cocky *** and i don't like his "true metal" attitude.

i am not gonna tattoo my head, just shave it and shave my beard and leave a goatee, i kinda have the hermit look right now :lol:

i think it's cool that devin has his hair like that. it kinda says, i don't give a f*** if i'm going bald. i don't see how the dude should grow up. he is a very intelligent person and has lots of fans who love his music and admire him and his talent. hell if a person wants to leave his hair like that, more power to em. look at hulk hogan, the dude has longer than normal hair with the horse shoe pattern and has had it for years. i don't think people really care about too much about it. they probably care more for the kind things he does for kids and charities :rockon:

Devin Townsend doesn't need to grow up.. he's one of the most talented metal musicians ever. He's an amazing vocalist, song writer , and guitarist. He's been making fun of his own hair loss for over 10 years.. has done the shaved look.. and was one bad *** looking dude when he had his hair and was singing for steve vai.

The guy wants to head bang on stage and have a crazy show when goes out on tour.. so why shouldn't he be able to grow his hair like that if he wants? He has enough confidence in himself not to wear a dead beaver on his head like the multitude of rock and metal musicians (brett michaels, kevin dubrow, michael angelo, and the list goes on and on and on).. Props to Devin for being such a great guy and a talented musician.

Your right about having yuor hair anyway you want but come on, that looks frigging awful! Are you guy gonna tell me you wanna look like Kim MItchell down on his luck? He doesnt have the "I dont care" attitude with that doo, he has the "Im in denial about my hair" look going on. Call me shallow and vain but having hair that long with nothing on top makes him look like he belongs in a bad sword and wizard movie. lol

I also found Kerry to be a little self involved but thats what was funny about him. You gotta admit he makes the band, after all he rights just about all their songs and writes most of the lyrics. Im just too old to hear that much anger anymore.

By far the rocker with the worst hair is David lee Roth. Who else in the music world has horrilbe hair. I mean roth certainly could afford better- I think. Poor Angus Young who just turned 50 is bald on top- He is a legend so i guess it doesn't matter what he looks like. Besides you have to love the Australian ACDC who gives a f*** attitude. Rock on

Devin Townsend has more talent in his toe jam than Kerry ever did. Kerry is a good thrash guitarist and writes some decent metal, but it gets old fast. It's the same crap time after time again, and the new sh*t isn't even any good.

Now Devin is versatile as hell, can sing circles around 99% of singers out there, and can outplay Kerry's wannabe satanic ***.

Devin isn't in denial.. he jokes about his loss all the time, and the poor guy wants to head bang to the incredible music he writes.. he wants to have that "crazy" personna and he does.

Being in denial about your loss is wearing a wig or hat wherever you go and deny any claims about lost hair. Growing your hair long like that (and no it isn't a COMBOVER) is saying "I don't give a f***". We can all learn something from him.

If you don't like it, then don't sport the skullet =).. but don't think you know anything about the man without at least talking to him.

something's up with bono of u2's hair. don't know if he got a transplant or a bad dye job..most likely a transplant..but he looks horrible nowadays..and devin townsend does that skullet as a joke.. he's been bald (ing) since the 80s and he'd always get sh*t from people about it so he kept what he had left as a joke. and he is a great musician. his songs deadhead, etc... are excellent
