How long does finasteride stay in the blood

I have a blood test coming up for Life ins. I don't want to try and explain the finasteride in the blood with no Dr. prescription to back it up. How long before the test should I stop the finasteride? Not to concerned about the Hair loss during that period

You really think they'd happen to check for the level of finasteride in your blood??

But to answer your question directly: the level of finasteride in your blood drops (on average) by about an order of magnitude every 24 hours after the last dose. A couple days should be sufficient.
