How bad ??? 22 Years old male male pattern baldness

Hey guys obvs im here cuz of bad hair genetics lol. Anyways imo i have a pretty bad receding hairline and just wanted some opinions. Would a transplant be worth it and in ur best guesses how many grafts etc to bring down the temples like 1-2inches maybe?
Some info. Im 22yrs old. Been receding minimally since late teens.
Moms side all have recedin hairlines.
I did an oral steroid cycle. Noticed like 2cm loss in like first week and stopped. Shouldve started finasteride from the start unfortunately.

that is a bad idea unless you are on finasteride. If you are on finasteride its an alright idea

also, only idiots take oral steroids, it is far more dangerous than taking oral instead of injections. Real men take it in the butt, not orally. It's also clear you didn't take into account the possible sides of your hairloss as well. At least you are left with only damage to your hair and not any organs

I think a lot of surgeons would be very hesitant to give a 22 year old a hair transplant. You're a bit too young just yet. They like to wait until you're in the 28-30 range so as they can at least determine how much hair you are going to lose in the future. If you aren't on finasteride, you can get good results, but you'll likely see that your hair behind the transplant continues to fall out at a much faster rate than it would have had you been on finasteride. So at 22, you've likely got a lot more hair to lose, and getting a procedure done so early on would probably be a mistake in my opinion.

just an update guys , it was already almost just as bad prior to the cycle but it definitely did push it back maybe a cm , yeah im very sensitive i guess lol ...i did consider the side effect but i had the finasteride on the way , i just started the cycle too soon ( 4 days ) prior to getting the finasteride like an idiot..
anyway any ideas regarding transplant etc #grafts etc,,> ? yeah a consultation with a surgeon is best but just want some rough estimates

bro i dont think you should get a hair transplant yet
wait till you're like 25 or something your hairline isnt SUPER bad yet.. plus you seem to have thick donor hair.. youll be ok long term bro

yeah its always been pretty thick , i dont know if i want to wait tho..whats the point of always worrying about it , even if it lasts a few years and ill need another one later , i wouldnt be apposed to that
im thinking id need around 2000grafts for like a nw1?

ill post a pic ina bit of how i fraud my hairstyle good lol

dude .. youll need like 3000. not only are you an advanced NW3 but your whole hairline went south.

That's not a fair statement.

If you use the orals less than 6 weeks it's highly improbable a healthy person is going to expereince organ damage.

Also, not all oral steroids are methylated to survive 1st pass through the liver. There are Rx oral steroids.

OP, I'm sure you know this, but avoid steroids that convert to DHT. Unfortunately that means stay away from testosterone. Some guys run finasteride during cycles though.

binge drinking every weekend is worse then a 4-6 week oral steroid cycle.

I don't think 2 weeks on oral steroids would have affected your hairline at all , what was you taking and what dose this is what matters... If you took a real high dose of gear then I'd agree it would of pushed your hairline back . But the folicles will just be dormant at this time , so with finasteride and minoxidil they'll grow hair again easily . I wouldn't sweat about a hair transplant at your age as most of your folicles haven't died if any as your so young . Get on the big 3 and in 6 to 12 months you'll be wondering why you considered a hair transplant .

hmm , that sounds good and all but lets be honest , im not too sure my hairline will move back down with those supps. it might thicken and get fuller though sure...
also the finasteride and the sides....and the worst part is i gotta take these 3 forever and as soon as i stop itll revert no?
the hair definitely did thin and push back on less than a week of the oral , it was moderate dose btw so not high , i guess very sensitive but you guys are making it sound like that was the reason , it was already receding badly prior to oral

Take a look at my progress thread my hair line was much worst than yours and has improved 100 percent . As for sides there's non I've come across . Certainly non worst than gear - so if your prepared to chuck that stuff into you then an FDA approved drug for hair loss is fine and very safe . It's up to you if you wanna do somthing about it or let it get worst and end up bald . Yeah you need to keep up the regime you yourself can decide if it's worth the bother if not just buzz your hair off .

My friend did a cycle of winstrol when he was younger. His hair melted away so fast it was ridiculous.

Yep. Anything highly androgenic will be murder on the hair. Stay away from tren and masteron!!! Deca is easy on the hair, or so I hear.

Winstrol is one of those drugs that offer so little in return to how much havoc they cause on the joints, and hairline. Garbage drug IMO


Winstrol, Anadrol, Masteron, and tren are drugs that should never be trust if you value your hair.

I sent pics to turkey clinic , they sent me back a pic with an outline and whatnot , looked good lol but it was pricey 2.5 euro per graft but said needed 3000grafts...
smh..all in all will be like 10,000$ euro trip...not sure if worth it...ill post pic of it here ina bit

2.5 euro is not expensive... lmao that's 2.80 USD per FUE graft. cheap as ****


Go to a North American reputable surgeon and a FUE graft is 8-10 USD
