Hello, all,

Well, I recieved my delivery of Proscar about a week ago now and still haven't decided if I am gonna start on the Big Three or settle for an existence of shaven-headedness. I have thinning around my crown, to the extent where I have to shave my head but believe that on the Big Three I could regrow most if not all of my hair back. I just cannot decide whether to start the big three or just keep it shaved. On the one hand I think I can deal with having my hair shaved, but I just keep coming back to ''guys who have hair do usually look better'', y'know? But then I think ''do I really want the responsibility of a regime such as the Big Three?'' And then I think ''it's just a pill a day and minoxidil possibly only once a day, no big responsibility.'' But then ''do I really want to mess with my hormones?'' Blah! Any helpful comments would be appreciated. This site has helped me a lot and I guess I need one more bit of assistance with the biggest decision in all this. Cheers!

I think that some guys go through this contemplation before committing to a regimen. This seems to happen when their hair loss is not too bad.

When your hair gets worse, you may really freak out man.

You could hold onto your hair for years longer than you normally would have.

You could start on a topical regimen if you are worried about internal 5ar inhibitors.

If you can pull off the shaved head look then I would shave your head and never think about going bald again.

After trying nearly all treatments going I can say, the big 3 is the only thing that helped me but I got sides and had to stop.

I guess the best thing to do is try it yourself and give it a good 6 months to see any results. You've got the pill so you may as well get popping.

I agree. It may look good shaved now but it will start to get to the point where its so bad u can notice the thinning even when it shaved, then u'd have to hit it up with the razor every day. I started out with the crown thinning and it looked pretty good shaved with a number one, but eventually i started diffusing all over and now its so bad u can tell a couple days after a number 1 buzz. My advice would be to take action ASAP.
