long time lurker here, i have posted some pictures on 2014 where i was nw2.5, now in 2016 i am nw3 with some vertex balding as 20 years old only.
i got propecia prescription in 2014 but i only took minoxidil and had good results until it faded and added nizoral in 2015, but the main ingredient is missing, i wanted to ask you guys what are the safest way to take finasteride, i really don't want to mess with my health but losing my hair at 20 sucks even more.

what i wanted to try as this seems the safest is to dissolve finasteride and take 0.1mg eod or ED my main goal is to gain 2-3 years until i finish the university. what do you guys think ? is this the safe approach and how much can dissolved finasteride last in alcohol solution ?

thanks

Safest way to take it is to not think of the overplayed bull**** about the drug. Finasteride has one of the best safety profiles of all drugs. Don't psych yourself out. Yes some people have a negative reaction to finasteride, well guess what some people have died from penicillin. Millions of men have taken, take, and will take finasteride with little to no side effects.

On another note. I just started taking finasteride 3 weeks ago and have experienced zero side effects whatsoever. In clinical trials done by independent companies, 2% experience side effects. It has never been documented in a clinical trial of persistent side effects. All there is, is anecdotal testimonies about it. Many people complain about ED, but there are many causes of ED (Nocebo effect, antidepressant medication, aging, anxiety, stress, etc...) If you take finasteride and expect to get side effects, you probably will. Your mind is a powerful thing. If you take the drug basing your decision on the actual scientific evidence of the multiple huge sample size clinical trials of the safety of the drug, then you most likely will not experience any side effects at all. You obviously want to take finasteride, so take it and stop worrying. If you experience side effects, then stop. Simple as that. Also, if you experience ED as a side effect you an do a nocturnal erection test to determine whether the problem is physical or psychological. But again, I can almost guarantee you will experience no side effect if you start taking it with a clear mind. Based your decision on whether to take the drug on the scientific clinical data, not on fear mongering.

I started taking finasteride recently and all my fears of side effects, so far, have been unfounded. Unfortunately my sex drive has went up -_-
