Help here with finasteride

Hey guys

Just one question rigth now i'm on Minoxil 5% liquid and nizoral 2 %. i have started a month ago. i think that i'm seing somo results.

Do you think i should add finasteride ?

Is finasteride good ( like it really puts your hair stronger )?
I have to break the pill in 4 rigth ?

If you want to tackle the underlying cause of male pattern baldness, then you need to take finasteride to counteract the DHT.

It's too soon with only being on minoxidil for a few weeks, it takes UP TO a year for results to occur. Finasteride should be taken 1 mg per day (it is known as Propecia, Fincar and Finpecia). Proscar is Finasteride as well but is 5 mg, that should be quartered (known as Proscar, Promin, and other names) Just remember only 1 mg a day and also with any hair loss treatment the results take time.

FYI, your hair does not look too bad either.

It is kind of hard to tell from the pic but I would "guess" a NW2 - NW2 1/2 diffusing behind the hairline. Jump on the Big 3 and give it time to work.

Propecia 1 mg daily
Minoxidil 5% (preferably twice per day)
Nizoral shampoo (either 1% or 2%) & use 3 times a week.

Ask all the questions you want, that is what we are here for Bro!

I personally do NOT believe masturbation and hair loss are related at all, others here may differ. As far as pictures, yes post a few more it may encourage more responses.

You mainly have temple loss from what i can see, NW2.

What is the festival band you have on your wrist, exit?

Yes you do, and hopefully these will get darker and help some of the hair grow back. :)

But if a had great results, someday the drugs will not work rigth ? :(


I'll take some pics tomorrow to update , im now on minoxidil at 1mouth and 1 week.

Bro I am in a similar position as you, although your temples are slightly deeper then me and it looks like you caught it early I am very confident you will recover some temple but most importantly me and you will be able to MAINTAIN our current state!

I am very interested in how you go and I would like you to keep us updated cos ur in the same boat as me bro, fire off an email or PM if ya wonna chat.

I have had deep temples for almost 10 years and it never really bothered me.. High hairline or deep temples are not a problem at all.. Some people even argue that they make you look more mature.

In my opinion, you shouldn't be aiming for a teenager hairline but keeping your current hair intact is your more realistic target...
