Having Hairtransplant When On 3 Big?

I am planning a hairplant but I am worried because i am on 3 big and later, after the plant, when i stop using them, the result may look ridicilious.

Is there anyone who has done hairplant when on 3 big?

Should I stop using the 3 big, then have the transplant?
If yes, how long before the plant?

Bit confused by this post. You usually only have to stop taking minoxidil prior to and sometimes after a hair transplant.
