I guess I will be the first!

My success has been with maintenance.

I immediately got onto Propecia when I first started losing hair, and after a pretty long drawn out 4 month shed that I was sure was never going to end, my hair started to re-cycle back in and thicken up again.

It took a good 11 months or more to really regain ground, but I was patient and it paid off. I began using Nizoral shampoo to get my scalp in order, and that helped quite a bit.

After 3 years on Propecia and Nizoral alone, I had totally stopped my hair loss and maintained a full head of hair. I was very thankful. However I had some hypersensitivity to it, and had to discontinue.

I transitioned to a topical DHT inhibiting regimen of 5% Topical spironolactone Lotion and Revivogen to try and duplicate Propecia, topically. After a preliminary shed I was on my way to maintenance, and have continued to maintain a full head of hair on this regimen for nearly 3 additional years now.

Total years of maintaining my hairline: 6
Products used: Propecia, Nizoral, Revivogen, 5% spironolactone Lotion
