dear friend s
i am suffering male patten baldness , i cannot use
minoxidil
since it gave me problem 8-9 months ago such as faster heart beat . palpitation etc , i m on finasteride now for 1 year , there is no result , i had good results with minoxidil

please suggest me something i live in india
will shaving the head make any diff

You are a Norwood 2 on the scale.

Are you sure that you didn´t have results on finasteride? I suppose that it at least slowed down your hair loss.

You might use spironolactone cream on your hair line and Nizoral shampoo twice a week.

The denisty on your pictures seem great, i dont know if it is because of the lighting. Your hairline looks ok, perhaps its just a mature hairline. What do you mean you have no results in finasteride? If you want to have the hairline you had at 14 then you never gonna see it. You hair is fine(at least thats what i can get from the photos) and finasteride will probably help you maintain it like that. If you are to much worried use nizoral and spironolactone cream as already mentioned.

Norwood 2???? I honestly think some of you guys out there are just plain delusional. His hair line looks like a typical mature hairline and a solid NW1 at the worst. Give the guy a break for gods sake.

To the original poster: Your hair looks thick and bloody normal! I honestly doubt you have male pattern baldness. However, if you have a history of male pattern baldness see a doctor and maybe get on propecia to be safe so that you maintain your normal looking hair. Good luck and dont be paranoid.

ok,well i have to agree with danish and snowrider,you have very minimal loss,if any,but you know best so id say a little loss..........when you say you havent had results,do yo umean the tiny loss hasnt grown back? have you lost anymore?


if you are maintaining that amount of hair on your head,i suggest you step away from the computer and walk out of your house and head to the nearest beach or bar and enjoy your life :hairy:
