Hi. I need a way to either slow, stop or possibly reverse the balding process.
Intro:

I’ve lost a considerable amount of hair in about a year. A random person couldn’t precisely tell if I’m balding, though one could assume I have relatively thin hair.
The bald patterns are more noticeable when the hair is oily or wet. My scalp seems to get itchy at random, sometimes intensive and long, sometimes just a little. I have reason to believe there is a lot of hairloss be blamed on it, as the crown and flanks of my head are the only itchy sections, which is where the thinning seems to take place.
For some reason, it’s probably just me, I believe I’m losing faster than before.

Qustions:

  • Should I make any changes to nutrition?
  • Are the vitamins I’m taking enough – I’ve read that the niacin flush is the hair-friendly part of niacin, though I am told the ‘flush’ caused by a small overdose will damage my heart – especially as I’m young. How much of this is true?
  • What natural hair masks should I use, and how often?
  • Does exercising improve blood flow and thus encourage hair growth, or just gives you a sweaty scalp and dandruff.
  • What else could I do to prevent hairloss (no, I don’t mean Rogaine, not yet)?

I could write a lot more, add more info, pictures and even ingredients of shampoos and medicine – and will if asked to.
Any and all help will me appreciated. Please reply soon,
Thanks in advance :)

Hey hey, calm down dude :) you ain't going bald, hair loss is treatable if you act early that is what i read on a blog, just take necessary precaution or maybe go see a dermatologist in your area and is your father also bald or anything because hair loss very much happens because of your genes

P.S if any one wanna read that post i was talking about , go ahead it was informative as well

Okay, I was kinda expecting more informative replies, but it's all right. My main questions are those regarding the intake of niacin, the choice and frequency of hair masks and whether exercise has some, little, negative, or no effect on hair growth. Also, you say milk increases DHT - so that means it's bad, right? Then again, I've read somewhere that milk is considered hair-friendly. Besides, drinking 4 8oz glasses a day is the recommended daily intake (I drink 3, but only because they're 10oz). Should I really go less? And I didn't mention chocolate for no reason - it has calories, sugar and cocoa, and it's considered as generally unhealthy. Do any of these ingredients boost the production of DHT and/or damage hair? And speaking of... is coffee good, bad or neutral when it comes to hair regrowth? And are DHT and HGH in any way related - this could lead to plenty of info. And speaking of DHT - it's the male sex hormone, right? So does it mean that sustaining from sex would be a good idea - or is it the opposite: sexual exhaustion reduces the levels of DHT? Thanks :)

Scalp exercises? How do you do those? I meant regular body exercises. And abot coffee... I meant it as a beverage, not food - then again, ehat difference does it make.
Now wbat I need to know is what natural hair masks to use and the deal with niacin. And one more thing: is there a way to thicken the small, thin strands without which there would be bald spots?
Anyway, reply to this one if you could, though I am thinking of starting multiple smaller threads for more varied info.
Thanks :D
