Hairless spots on the back of my head

Since I started buzzing my head, I have noticed that i have two small hairless spots quite low on the back of my head. Actually it seems like it could be inside the NW7 horseshoe area, that is supposed to be safe from hairloss. I have no idea whether these spots have always been there or not since my hair has been too long for these spots to be visible. Is this normal, or could it be a sign of DUPA or something?

If it's relevant, I am receding (NW2.5) and diffusing in NW5-6 pattern.

Those are scars. I have one at about the same place. Probably happened when you were a kid.
It's just below the horseshoe area in my opinion.

Wait just a minute!!! I have those exact scar marks in the exact place!!! I never thought much of it, even though my parents teased me about it looking like I had been "plugged into something" (they said I needed to be plugged back in to the matrix, lol); however, seeing your picture just made me gasp due to our similarity.

I never recall any injury that would have caused these "scars" on my head either, and I also had long hair until hairloss forced me to buzz my head (afterwhich I noticed them). This could possibly be symptomatic of something. Wow, I will have to do some research now. You do the same and lets see if we can't figure out what (else) is wrong with us.

Probably not relevant, but I too am 2.5 in front with diffuse crown thinning in Norwood 5-6 pattern. I also do not have much hariloss in my family (either side); and the ones that do, didn't occur NEARLY as early in their life as mine (and they still aren't as bad off as I am today).

I have one of those as well in almost the same spot. Strange.

I have 1 spot in the same area. Fell as a kid and cracked my head. Needed to stitch it back up.

Thats not part of your male pattern baldness. They look like scars. I also have the same thing from where i got stitches as a kid, but on a different region of my head. No hair grows there.

Do you recall bumping your head?


Other than that, its possibly alopecia areata.

Well he only has two scars. If he had three then you might have a case :agree: And it would have to be a triangular shape and say 666. But clearly this is not happening :shakehead:

I have a feeling Norsk is our friend taug...that pic is the pic of taug in his thread asking about a buzzcut. I have a feeling taug may have already buzzed his hair down, but is using another ID now..Whats even more strange is I think taug tried to cover up his footprints. Look @ Norsks "hairloss" story. Him and taug are the only guys talking to each other in that thread (I think more posts may have been added but the first 8 posts or so are btwn them)

No its definatley NOT Taug its just a striking similarity, but I can tell the difference. Besides this guy is'nt saying that his life is over and he cant get girls because he's so ugly and he's wearing a shirt.

Lol wake up people he is taug. Taug is already very inventinve and creative as it is with his bizarre theories. i see no reason why he couldnt make another ID. His facial strucutre is way too similar and even his writing style is pretty similar.
