Something very strange is happening to my hair. In the past 2 years the hair on one side of my hairline gradually started to get exremelt curly, with hair irregularly twisting, kinking and bending in every direction. Slowly it has moved from the temporal part of my hairline to the centre of my hairline above my forehead. Hairs that were once dead straight are now kinked and curled up, very strange behaviour. I have read about APKH (aqcuired kinking of the hair) which is a very rare condition and was wondering if anyone else has suffered with this? I have mild hair loss in the front temporal regions, but the kinked, twisted and curled up hairs are only on one side. Does anyone have any idea why my hair could be behaving in such a strange manner?
