Hair loss due to thyroid condition?

Hello everyone,
I'm wondering if there are men on this forum that have/had hair loss (not baldness) due to a thyroid condition? I'd like to know the condition of your hair loss as i believe this is what i have. Obviously i have other symptoms that suggest i have a thyroid problem. Please, every bit of information helps.

The best thing would be to get a blood test.
From what I understand hair loss due to thyroid condition, you would see a loss of body hair/facial hair etc.
