I've had moderate acne (+ scarring) for the past 6 years and now find myself facing the beginning of hairloss, just to rub salt into the wound.
I can't find any hard evidence that the two conditions are linked but it would seem that excess sebum production can be a common factor. Is it safe to take finasteride as an existing acne sufferer without further worsening of the condition or is it just too hard to tell?
