does this look like alopecia areate?

Hi,

I shaved of all my hair 6 weeks ago at a charity-event for raising money for cancer research. A few weeks ago i got a strange spot on my scalp. It was red at first and my skin feels strechted at the spot. I do have some hair there, but not as much as on the other areas. My dermatologist told me it could be alopecia areata.

Is it??

Base on the picture, it's not. I would just keep checking with the mirror closely. good luck.
