Hey guys,

just wondering what you think about the idea that minoxidil stops working after a length of time, say 5 years? If this happens, do you think finestaride, Spironolactone, and Nizoral would be enough to maintain any gains one has made?

Thanks for any and all feedback.

Technically no, but it's effectiveness will wither on it's own. You'd need to add something like finasteride to stop DHT, but there's no reason to stop using minoxidil along with it.

I'm already on Spironolactone and may add finestaride if I find out for sure that I have Androgenetic Alopecia (I should find out this week.)

So theoretically, if minoxidil works for me, and chances are it will, I not only will keep the hair I have but may experience regrowth and keep it indefinitely if I stay on minoxidil and spironolactone and/or finestaride?

I'm a female by the way, so if I have Androgenetic Alopecia, presumably it shouldn't be as aggressive as most men's anyway.
