What a misleading headline. Procyanidins are not the cure. A nice addition, yes. Not a cure.

If you search for hair and then click on the hair growth link it will take you to another page. This page then talks about the greatness of apple peels. All the data on the page is pre 2001, in other words if this was "the cure" it would have happened by now.

I did.

Just because they released a formula in 2005 does not make this entire concept new. The study itself does not show any great increase in hairs that would get me excited. Go ahead and try it I honestly do not care but do not state it will cure male pattern baldness just because their liteature says so.

Here is a quote from their propaga...I mean unpublished study:
"Our tests have confirmed that topical procyanidin B-2 is safe and effective in curing male pattern baldness."

Maybe it's useful maybe it isn't. Hopefully I am wrong and it just turns out to be a cure and everyone in this forum can walk around with stupid thick hair, hopefully.

Because the product just came out after 5 years of studies.....Get yr facts right..The significant number of the balding world hasnt used it yet beecause only one US company is offering it for sale...

If u dismiss it as snake oil just becuas eit is old news.... i feel sorry for u....

The "cure" quote is from the Japanese abstract/study. And I thought one of those "studies" did show it doing better than minoxidil..and we all know minoxidil is no cure :shock:

It's still a good thing to have in one's regimen. One of the reasons I quit the MM PB product was so I could use something that had other goodies in it..besides the pro's.

Yes, their "advertisements" for pro's show it to be better than minoxidil. at regrowing hair. There's not much doubt, from what I've read, that pro's might help in regrowing hair and/or making your scalp more healthy.
