Concerned about daily finasteride dose

Hi,

I recently switched from Propecia to Proscar.

I have been dividing my Proscar tablets up into 4 - 5 pieces, and just taking one piece every morning. Sometimes one piece is like a flakey tiny nugget and the other 3 or 4 pieces are nice chunks..

Is this an issue and should I go back to the pricey Propecia 1mg tablets instead?

Tough question. Id say its not too big of a deal ... you might consider however doing what Bryan has mentioned for several years, and simply dissolving it in alcohol and splitting it into 5 parts. I used to dissolve the stuff in a test tube of water and just take shots that way ... this way you can equally split it up .... almost perfectly.

But cutting proscar in four parts have the same effectiveness ? If finestride is distributed equally ? Some doctors in Italy reccomends to take propecia instead of proscar, is it the right theory ?
