I'm a 20 year old guy. I'm not quite a nw2 but on my way. I was just wondering if it's possible for someone to stay a nw2 for many years without anymore recession.

Well, I've been a NW2 for about ten years now - I'd say it started when I was around 17 and I'm 27 now. Although my hair did recede since then and I've only been using drugs for the last 5 years or so. I would say I was a very thick NW2 at 17 and a mediocre one now... :)

P.s. Some men have a NW2 as their mature hairline and they like that for decades...

Hair loss is very unpredictable.
But answering your question, yes, it's possible.

Talking about a weird hair loss.
I knew a guy at another job. Was already retired, he was in his 70's and completely bald, he probably shaved the last hairs of his NW7. Always showed for social events in the company

One time he got an article in the company's internal magazine with old pictures of him.
From the time he was in his 20's-30's to the year 2000 his hairline only changed from a very thick NW1 to maybe an NW2.5. Probably 8 years later he was an NW7.

So even old people can have aggressive hair loss, contrary to the old wisdom that you're safe if you get to a certain age with no hair loss

Most men are nw2, so yeah its extremley common for men to lose their juevenile hairline at your age and stay the same for decades.
