Can You Have Long Hair On Finasteride?

Hi There,

I will be starting Finasteride soon. I also still plan on growing out my hair to around shoulder/past shoulder length. Will this be possible? Or does medication stunt the growth and only stop loss? I want to still be able to grow my hair as long as i would like to. Right now its about 6-7 inches long and maybe 4 inches on the sides.

Of course you can grow your hair long lol. finasteride doesn't affect hair growth, it blocks something called DHT which attaches its self to the hair follicles. Without DHT harming your hair it can grow normally.
