Can hair gel cause hair loss?

I'm looking for the most natural way way of making my hair strands thicker?

Can hair gel help? How true are the claims that it can cause hair loss?

Is it OK to apply a hair gel immediately after applying minoxidil? I mean, some parts of my hair would have a shiny look to them after applying minoxidil, so I might as well use gel on my entire hair afterwards.

It is usually best to allow minoxidil 15-20 minutes to dry before styling. A good gel that I found that adds thickness to hair is Nixon Niogel. This will do nothing to stop your loss. Use a thickening shampoo such as Progaine or Thicker Fuller Hair on your non-nizoral days as well, and you'll add thickness.
