"Apply 1ml to the affected areas"

When applying minoxidil, how do you define "the affected area"... for example, I apply mine to the crown only but it's thinning kind of in two halves, so I apply 1ml to each half, thus my crown as a whole actually receives 2ml of minoxidil twice a day (hope this is making sense). I also apply another 1ml at the back of my head in the horsehoe dip area.

Am I using too much?

Yes! 1ml is the recommended dose for each application.

Go for 2ml max. You dont have to shower with the stuff.

Sorry, this cannot possibly be.

Six squirts can cover the whole scalp- you just have to moisten the surface of your skin with the topical, not dive into it.
