Alternatives To Glued On Hair Systems?

I have heard of systems that use micro-clips to attach hairpiece to already existing hair. I have started thinning rapidly so I was thinking of getting one of these before I go completely bald after which glued ones seem better. Any reviews on these? Are they easily detectable or come off easily? Anything will help.

Hi Qztwn

They are certainly more detectable to the touch than glue and tape, although if you go for a denser piece they can look OK. However, if you are not careful (shifting the location of the clips regularly) the clips pull on your growing hair, and that will over time cause traction alopecia. You are still dependent on tape for the hairline. On the whole, I think you are better off with glue (or tape). Glue sounds messy, but it is OK provided you do it regularly, and a fine lace or skin piece glued on is the closest thing you can get to the look and feel of having your natural hair back.

That said, clips are pretty popular here in Japan and in Korea.
