ALLERGIC TO MINOXIDIL

Hi guys, hoping someone can give me some advice. I've tried on a couple of occasions to use Minoxidil (various brands, and both liquid and foam) and each one gave me the same effect - a small head ache and pulsing/pressured feeling in my head, like theres too much blood in it, particularly around my sinuses for some reason. It happens every time I use it, and the first time I stopped the headache feeling continued for about a month!

Clearly I'm allergic to something in it, but has anyone had any similar experiences? I dont want to use finasteride (tried it for 2 months but hated the insecurity/ fear of possible future side effects/problems), and since im clearly not able to use Minoxidil my chances of regaining my hair are severely reduced :(

I get occasional headaches/migraines right after I apply minoxidil, not all the time but maybe 3-4 days out the week.

You weren't going to gain much ground on minoxidil alone, either way. I used the liquid for 4 months and it gave me psoriasis that bled and a severely dried face that could only be cured with olive oil everyday. I use the foam and finasteride now for two weeks and there have been zero side effects so far. I would say you're gonna have to suck it up and take a chance. I waited for 3 year because of finasteride fears, but finally convinced myself to take the plunge as there are millions of men currently on the stuff compared to only a couple thousand who post scare-stories about it; most of whom suffering from the placebo effect, no doubt. I used to think the same way as you and minoxidil alone did nothing for me and only left me worse off than if I would've taken finasteride sooner and would've saved much more hair.

I've had some side effects from minoxidil...the largest one is rapid heart beats. My cardiologist did some tests and it turned out to be superventricular trachardia. My heart rate was 174 and the event lasted about 1 minute. My doctor said its benign and to drink more water and take slow mag at cvs. No need for a prescription. It's a combination of magnesium and calceum. If you have these side effects, go check it out with your cardiologist.

I stopped finasteride because of serious depression and anxiety couped with panic disorder. One month after stopping I have not had any of the above mentioned sides.

It's not BS. I've been using it since January, and I have good results. I haven't gained all of my receding hair back but 1cm is good.

Wellness Medical Center.

Thanks about that. I might give it a try. Would you recon that if I'm prone to insane itching with stuff like kirkland liquid minoxidil I'll better with the 30% cream?
I feel like I really have nothing to lose anymore.
Btw any sides regarding the whole 'wrinkles/minoxidil destroyed my face' with the 30% cream?
Thanks.
Btw did you choose any more additives to your compound?
