Hi everyone,
I have been using minoxidil 5% 1ml 2xdaily for 6 months now, along with 1Xsaw paleto daily and Nizoral 2% every 3 days.
When i first started using the regime, it was to curb my frontal hair loss as well as thicken the vertex.
I followed the regime after a friend recommended minoxidil 5%, which he had significant hair growth all over and extreme thickening but started thining after a year again. He was only on minoxdil.
So far i have achieved thickening at the vertex, but there has been no improvement and worsening on the frontal hairline.
2 Questions:
1. Will adding proscar cause another shedding? I have already had a big shed in the first month of minxodil.
2. Has anyone here just used minoxidil for a long period of time? what was the result?
