Hey guys, I wanted to post some pics of my progress. To all my friends and family, they are astounded. I get compliments from strangers about my hair. However, it's an illusion of density because if I brush it forward it looks thin and whispy and horrible. Then when I brush it back, it looks like I have a full head of hair. It's really weird. Its hard to believe I can expect anymore growth, but from what everyone says, it's still kinda early so whatever. I go back and forth between loving it then asking "Is this it?" The first pic is before the surgery I think. The second one is maybe 3 to 4 months post op. The rest are current. Please reply with any questions, comments or advice. P.S. I'm not on finasteride anymore. I like being able to 'function'

Looks good, how many grafts? If you're destined for a high Norwood and definitely if you aren't on finasteride, illusion of density is far more prudent than actual density only a lucky few with minor hair loss and great future hair prospects should consider actual density in hair transplants at a young age

I got 3400 grafts. 2400 in the front and 1000 in the crown.

Pretty good result. Looks slightly thin as you noted yourself: combination of fine blonde hair and less grafts. But it's a massive massive improvement and looks sweet! I am really curious about my result now as I had 2200 grafts in a smaller area at the front. It was to achieve the density as the rest of the hair.

Do you have pictures of your crown before and after? I'd like to see how far 1k grafts can take someone.

Just realised this is at 6.5 months so plenty of time for it to get even better :)
