2% and 5% minoxidil colors

I've been on rogaine 2% for about 4 months with decent improvement and today I decided to switch to a generic 5% I got from sams club I noticed the color of the generic 5% is like a yellowish color while the rogaine 2% is just clear, is this the way it suppose to be because its stronger or is it becuase its generic and not rogaine or did I end up some kind of contaminated bottles?

well my rogaine 5% is clear...

btw how long did u use minoxidil b4 u saw results? were u using other treatments also?
