1 month update....and some questions...

Alright, so i started my reg. of the big 3 about a lil' over a month ago to treat my receding/thinning hairline...lately its consisted of

nizoral 1% every 3 days
Minx 5% every nite, sometimes twice a day
1.25 finasteride daily

I must be going thru a shed because my hair has thinned out more than ever. Hopefully things will improve soon, i cant afford to lose much more...

Questions.

1. the hairs ive been losing are mostly short and they like curl up, my hair is straight and the ones i lose are straight and then curl up at the end? weird.
2. is this my initial shed and i should recover back to normal if not better soon, right?

Hey, I started propecia about 3 months ago. I shed like f*cking crazy. In fact that is what prompted my search for a forum such as this. My shedding was so severe that people, esp. me, noticed a difference in my appearance. I am a diffuse thinner, and my hair became noticably thinner. This went on for at least the first 2 months. Now I think my shedding is finally beginning to stabilize. Hopefully I will eventually have resultant thickening back to my original 3 months ago. Anyway, most of the memebers on here feel shedding is normal and you just have to bite the bullet, as it will eventually diminish. So hang in there. It will probably get worse before it gets better. :x
