    Tpower1024's Story - (20/receding..Big 3 -OR- Rev, S5, Min)

Thanks man, success to you as well. ......................... One additional side effect that is concerning me about finasteride is if it impairs cognitive function. I'm in school, in a fairly demanding field. This last semester I started to notice that I was having a little trouble with some things...

    Tpower1024's Story - (20/receding..Big 3 -OR- Rev, S5, Min)

I have been using Propecia for 6 months with decent success, I haven't lost any additional hair and have had minor regrowth. Been considering switching to an only topical routine of S5, minoxidil, & Revivogen. I used Revivogen last year before starting Propecia with decent success, but it's such...

    8 years 1mg Propecia, 2 years 0.5mg Propecia. Stop. 1 year Revivogen

True, it works for me because I'm young and don't plan on committing anytime soon. Now going back to Revivogen, I'm going to add S5 in the morning and on nights I have a "sleepover" I'll just double up with the S5.

Tried Propecia, Rogaine Foam, Tricomin, Prox, Nizoral, Topical Spironolactone

Re: Tried them all! finasteride, foam, Tricomin, prox, nizoral, spironolactone Hey inland, great story just read through the thread. I'm also stopping Propecia but after only 6 months. I didn't get too bad of side effects, but like you mention I have a feeling I've been somewhat under-minding them and don't want...

    8 years 1mg Propecia, 2 years 0.5mg Propecia. Stop. 1 year Revivogen

Great to hear. I'm also going off Propecia after 6 months of use. My side effects were very mild, but similar to you I can't stop thinking about possible long term effects and wouldn't forgive myself if problems arose in the future. I used Revivogen last year before starting Propecia, it worked...

    Taylor's Story

"Regrowth: Do you prescribe Proscar to your patients who want to get on Finasteride but want to save money by quartering Propecia pills? Dr. Ziering: No, for two reasons: without the protective coating there is the risk of transcutaneous absorption and secondly when the pill is formulated the...

    Taylor's Story

Good deal, I know Merck says that the finasteride is evenly distributed throughout the pill. You or anyone ever notice that this may be untrue? Also I remember reading in a post by someone that you can send in a description of your situation to a online source and a doctor will review and call in a...

    Taylor's Story

Thanks for the comments guys, when I said "I want kids some day" I was just being "calloused" in the implication that If I did have bad side effects like impotence. I will probably end up trying it out in a month or so . . . What's the deal with this supplier from India they have on this...

    Taylor's Story

Thanks for the reply, but I'm not going to be trying finasteride anytime soon. I like girls too much, and want to have kids some day. I've been using Revivogin which is suppose to be a DHT inhibitor. But I'm think of replacing the Revivogin with P.r.o.c.e.r.i.n and also adding s5. I'm just not...

    Taylor's Story

Hey guys, my situation is that I'm a young guy (20) and started having frontal hairloss about a 1 1/2 years ago. There's no doubt that it's genetic, my father and brother both started to shed around the same age. But I want to do something about it, and have taken action in doing so. But I seem...
