not everyone will be bald as a badger later on if they started losing hair in their teens. I started receding at 17 and sure have just had a hair transplant at 46..however i aint no dr phil or the like...nw4 at worst..you can be lucky....i have had friends with a full head of hair at 25 who now do look...

yup..a few small pimples from the grafts leaves things a little irritating..but it seems to be a normal process from what i read..

as im in australia dont think graftcyte is available here....right now just using a detol soap etc to try and calm it down

4 weeks today since hair transplant and majority of transplanted hairs have shed..few problems with some ingrown hairs.scalp a little red..anyone had same problem?

i agree totally..as a norwood 4 i think 2 transplants is pretty much standard ,considering my sun damage isnt great for megasessions as such. brett

yeh 24 is young..provided you arent too far down the track to baldness minoxidil, propecia etc will halt and even grow back what you have lost.

yeh knudson is pretty good...stay away from national hair institute in oz...very spruiky and the guy who runs the show isnt hands on...i used dr martinick who is also from perth and is recognised world wide.. and the work she did on me the other day touch wood seems very good.

do this dont do that..one way road to paranoia i reckon...i am starting to get the boy in the plastic bubble syndrome :)

ah that might have been a good idea for me as well...fortunately today i can use a dettol type wash as the head around the scar and grafts is starting to get a little itchy at times.. mind you its summer here and im usually down the beach a lot but no sun allowed on scalp for 2 weeks now and...

yup i guess its all worthwile in the long run..forums like this are great as you dont feel like the only one suffering.. :D

Just had one yesterday..the scar is driving me crazy..hard to find a decent sleeping position etc..cant wait till i can wash my scalp...had around 1700 grafts done .. no swelling so i guess im lucky there..was done here in australia by dr jennifer martinick, who is very well thought of i...
