I read some patient did this. But it will be a big problem if later in life he decides to get rid of the hairpiece. He will be left with an awkward hairline in front and nothing behind.
Under good light? The changed picture is more like under very bright spotlight :) :woot:
Dr. Arvind charges $3.5/- a fue graft. 10,000 grafts must have cost this guy $35,000/-. Not a bad price at all. I know people who got strip for this much money and much less grafts. The smiley scar they...
You got me thinking. If this guy were to trim his hair to a number 1 or 2, he will actually look full head of hair. Someone should suggest him that option.
Shaving a bald scalp and buzz cut on a hairy (even thinning) scalp look totally different.
The first looks like a bald guy shaving, the...
10,000 grafts on a norwood 6 will replace 50% hair. Even among the 50%, many hair are thin caliper body hair.
Will it look thinner then a total non balding scalp?! Of course. Its juvenile to argue on such an issue.
The commendable thing is that such a dramatic (yes, it is dramatic) improvement...
Maybe, its still work in progress!
You think 7000 fue grafts from head is regular for most people? I thought people saying only 2000 to 3000.
This is what you wrote on another thread
500 is a small number of grafts. I have no experience about Norton Clinic, so cant comment about them. Have you also had consult with any other doctors? Its amazingly easy to get online consult with the leading fue doctors in the world.
Or, you could try posting some pictures here to let us see...
I respect your choice. Money and time can play a part in the decision making.
What I want to point out is, in the correct hands, it is possible to get dramatic improvement with fue and bht as it is with strip. This case is another example that proves it.
Its not true that fue is only for...
Yes. It could use more grafts in places. But, look at it this way -
a) its only 10,000 grafts replacing nature given 20,000 to 25,000 grafts a Norwood 6 will have lost.
b) only 3800 of these are scalp grafts. The rest are from the body and the beard. That means that on one hand, the scalp donor is...
I remember reading saf's post somewhere that he cant buzzcut because he has had those strips. Otherwise, he could have looked much better.
You should take note of what Dev is saying here.
Why should we settle for strip when fue and bht can give results without the strip scars?
Its this attitude...
You must be pretty shortsighted to make a comment like that. This result is a Norwood 6 turned to Norwood 1 without any strip. I wonder why you make such a strange assesment.
A buzz cut is better then acombover anyday. Gives an impression of fullness. Only problem, if you have no hairline, it tends to not benefit as much. The ideal is to get a frontal framing with fue and then go for a buzzcut. It works wonders.
