Its unfortunate for your dad. Imagine balding in the 70's. I'd probably have tried every type of therapeutic shampoo at the drug store. Tried all sorts of supplements, and had no outlet to turn to. I would have lost all my hair, been depressed over it and probably have gotten my hope up dozens...
