I wish I had pictures. Minoxidil is the King of regrowth and it has indeed helps a great many. Has done very well for me when nothing else had. Moderate regrowth (most noticable along hairline) and sweet thickening.
Try it for 4-6 months and see if it works for you.
You're in Joysey, yes? We US citizens have to fill out Lee's consultation form before ordering. Legal crap. Go to http://www.minoxidil.com, email them a request for the consult form. They'll send it to you, fill it out and send it back. Then they'll email you're clear to order. There will be a...
Becks, did you stop the minoxidil when you started spironolactone? If so that may well be your problem.
I've used 2%spironolactone on and off in the past (longest continuous use was 7 months), for me, I've never seen anything from it, positive or negative.
minoxidil never stops working IMO. My regrowth probably peaked at 8-12 months, but is still the same now at 17 month mark. As Bryan teaches us, minoxidil provides an offset of growth somewhat indefinitely.
If you drop the minoxidil and have a bad shed, then you'll know it was helping. At that point I'd...
Maybe it's a secret fear of theirs. Maybe they secretly suspect they're losing and are in denial. Trying to distance and differentiate themselves from people with visible loss, which they fear. Hoping they'll not become a part of that group.
I wouldn't bother telling them. Not just for the...
I think anyone that cares enough about their hairloss will get online and do a bit of research and probably find this site. We all turned to the 'net for info about it, right? I started with alt.baldspot 5 years ago myself.
Though all the members here, and on other hair loss sites are surely just a...
My fave is how the loony leftists blame Reagan for the AIDS. The guy was a total square, put the credit where it belongs - the irresponsible sexual practices so loved by the hippie gen. Besides, it ain't like Crinton came in to office and cured AIDS in the first 100 days.
I'm also a childern...
I guess I'm somewhat of a hairloss vet now at 31. My loss has been very slow, but I noticed I was losing density around 17-18 and hairline started to lose around 20.
Like I said though, lucky my loss has been so slow. I tried rogaine 6 years ago but it gave me too much flake and itch so I had...
I had the same reservations about Lee's minoxidil in the past. I figured, if minoxidil could work well in 30%PG, why wouldn't rogaine make a more user friendly product? They do use 30%PG in their 2% minoxidil, and I think 30% can pretty well dissolve 5% minoxidil too. I've had some crystalization in a couple of...
You're in Canada, so you can buy Lee's minoxidil (http://www.minoxidil.com) without the $20 consultation first, you may well find his stuff is worth the extra cost.
If you have no prob with rogaine/generic's slow drying, greasiness, itch and flaking then it's the cheapest option. You can buy a 4...
That sounds fine. You don't really have to massage/rub it in if you don't want to, but it don't hurt either. Most of the minoxidil should be absorbed within that 1 hour before your morning shower, but a bit more time on the scalp would likely increase the amount absorbed.
I think there may be a greater risk of sides if you switch up to 5mgs/day. I have heard that some believe taking 5mg twice per week can be as effective as a daily dose.
If you haven't seen results, you should try minoxidil if you ain't yet.
I've no doubt about fincar/finpecia's legitimacy. I've used proscar/propecia in the past too.
I stopped finpecia about a month ago, and my finasteride sexual sides have ceased. I hope I can stay off the stuff for good.
