I started generic finasteride (Finpecia) exactly 7 weeks ago, 1mg ED. I had testicle pain on day 2 that lasted 24 hours or so and disappeared completely. No other side effects of any sort, nothing changed with libido etc. Almost 2 weeks ago, the testicle pain returned, but milder. It's annoying but...

Just curious how many people have got finasteride via a script from the Dr and how many have just started taking it on their own initiative after realizing they have male pattern baldness? I live in the UK where I'm pretty sure finasteride/Propecia is only available via private prescription which makes it quite expensive...
