hi all I'm dark skinned and shave my head, when i apply rogaine foam it leaves a white residue. is there anyway to avoid this?

has anyone else noticed on Entourage that Johnny Drama always comments how Rogaine is making his hair thicker, especially when the other guys rip on him about his hairline. i think its hilarious, this show is very closely linked to hollywood, so it seems that alot of celebrities actually use...
