19yrs old, aggressive male pattern baldness. 0.25mg Propecia EOD

I've upped my dose to 0.5mg eod to finish my current batch and am then acquiring 5mg proscar to continue with 1.25mg. I've been 5 months into those low doses and haven't really seen any improvement, but judging frmo old pictures my hairline hasn't gotten worse either. I'm still losing a lot of...

23 y/o on finasteride, 1.25mg ED should I add dutasteride 0.5mg once a week? Or should I do topical?

2 months is too short to notice the stabilization of further hair loss and definately too short to see results. You are inhibiting DHT quite a lot already. It would make more sense to quit finasteride and just get on dutasteride. Not taking both at the same time. Just my opinion of course. I'd wait for at least...

19yrs old, aggressive male pattern baldness. 0.25mg Propecia EOD

Hey, sorry for my late response Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately things are a lot more expensive here in Holland. Still I'm convinced there should be at least some kind of result. I'm just not sure when to know it's becoming better. Right now it's not. I might indeed move to a higher dose...

Stopped using Finasteride - Scalp tingly, hair and scalp feel "charged". Anyone else?

Difficult to say, expect to be back at the 'normal' level in 8-12 months. It's up to you of course whether you want to stop or not, if the side effects are not that severe i'd say keep taking finasteride. When you suddenly experience a massive shed of hair you might just panic and then it's too...

19yrs old, aggressive male pattern baldness. 0.25mg Propecia EOD

Hey guys, Thanks for your answers. Would you say that 0.25mg EOD is such a low dose that it's close to being pointless in preventing hair loss? Also I'm sorry, I'm taking "Proscalpin" (just some general finasteride brand appearantly). It is quite cheap indeed. Right now I'm a little short on...

19yrs old, aggressive male pattern baldness. 0.25mg Propecia EOD

Hey guys, I'm a 19 year old dude suffering from a quite aggressive form of male pattern baldness, unfortunately. I have exactly the same hair as my dad once had (and he lost his hair at a very young age as well.) I'd say I'm between NW2-3 right now. I still have quite thick hair so it is not very noticable yet...
