Hello folks,
I'm not a wearer right now, but I think I might switch to hairsystems at some point in the future.
I'm trying to roughly ballpark various estimates of how much this entire trick usually costs. My current estimate says that 100-120 dollars per month is fairly realistic, and with...
I know it's not my business, but if you don't mind sharing, I'd be interested to know why you are doing this ^^
Do you normally socialize in entirely different circles (different city?) where you simulate NW1, and then when you meet up with old friends who know you've been balding, you try to...
I think the informal consensus is that by far the most important ingredient in a shampoo is ketoconazole, and there does exist very solid evidence that ketoconazole has a tangible effect on hair loss, so that it's often even counted among the "Big Three", along with finasteride and minoxidil...
@Noah
My hairline is in good shape. At the moment I only got some visible thinning around the crown, but my hairloss doesn't seem very aggressive. (I'll be 29 in June, and I only got some visible thinning around the crown, and I think a somewhat maturing hairline.)
My plan at the moment is to...
@Noah
How difficult is it to get a system that you put behind your natural hairline, and that blends in with your natural hairline?
Apart from that, I agree that systems shouldn't be thought of as the last resort, and I think they're generally an underrated solution to hair-loss.
Hello deg_dilemma,
That's interesting, could you explain why you think Dermmatch is the better product if you still have a good bit of hair? Do you think Dermmatch is also better for the crown area?
I myself have mainly had thinning around the crown area so far, and have used Gofybr to cover...
You don't look to me like you're too far gone... From the photos you shared I think you're a good candidate for concealers.
Well, you'll never know if concealers suit your needs unless you give them a try. It doesn't cost much, especially compared to hairsystems. So I'd just give it a shot and...
Well to each their own, maybe concealers aren't for you.
I'll just say that it doesn't cost much compared to hair systems, so if I were you I'd give it a shot for a while, and if it doesn't suit your needs, switch to systems. Why not? You don't have much to lose.
I think there's a good chance...
Yeah that's my current plan as well, to use other options until I'm pretty far gone, then probably switch to systems.
My biggest question mark here is actually the hairline. I seem to be able to handle my crown really well with concealers, but once the hairline starts to go, I'm not sure what...
I think hair fibers and other concealers would probably work well on you, as your hairline seems to be ok, but you are thinning on top. People often underestimate how much can be done with concealers.
