Thanks for the replies. Good point Koga. Admin, I bought Fincar 5mg pills and tried cutting them into 5 with a pill cutter at first but was making a mess of it so have been cutting them into 4. I could try cutting the 1/4's in half for about 60mg a day. Possibly Ronin.

I have been applying Minoxidil for over 3 weeks and been taking oral finasteride for 2 weeks and I can see some hairs coming through on my hairline that are about 1/2 inch to 3/4inch long. I have some Regaine extra strength for men 5% foam and on the patient information leaflet it says, "This medicine is used to treat hereditary hair loss in men aged 18-49 years." Why 49? I am 47. Shall I just stick to Finasteride and Nizoral?
