Thyroid condition doesn't always cause hairloss. My thyroid problem and hairloss are completely unconnected. I can't tell you why it causes some people to los their hair though.

If it runs in your family, you may have it too. My whole family does, so it was no surprise when I started feeling tired and had no energy.
