No time to Read! Just give me the Facts!

This one page wonder - a quick and dirty (yet oh so clean) explanation of hair loss will tell you in plain and simple terms what to do *today* to stop or reverse your hair loss.

The Solution is Easy - Stick to Science

We can't stress this enough. If you want to stop your hair loss or reverse it and regrow some, the way to do it is simple. Stick to the treatments that have legitimate science backing them. Why is that simple? Because there are so few that actually have any real science at all backing them! Neat how that works out, huh?

Your Best Bet - Proven Treatments

Simply put, the best treatments to start with are those with FDA approval. There are only two of these: Propecia and Rogaine. Propecia is best at maintaining what you've got, and regrowing a small amount more. Rogaine is best at regrowing hair that has been lost. Don't assume Rogaine is better because of this! Propecia is great for younger guys who want to stop their hair loss for good. Rogaine is great for guys who've already some hair and are in need of some serious regrowth. Propecia and Rogaine together are a great combination for guys whove lost a significant amount and need to regrow a significant amount.

Propecia alone is enough to completely stop hair loss in over 83% of men. But what about women?

The following treatments represent the ONLY FDA approved or clinically backed treatments for hair loss today. No matter what you read elsewhere, Propecia and Rogaine (listed below) are the ONLY products out there that have actually been shown to work in treating hair loss in men and women.

About
Tip
Propecia
Men Only
Clinically Proven in several studies to be 83% effective at maintaining hair and 62% effective at regrowing, after 2 yrs of use. This is by far the best long-term treatment available. Great for new hair loss sufferers wishing to stop their loss. Used with Rogaine to regrow larger amounts of hair.
Rogaine
Men or Women
Comes in 2% and 5% and must be applied twice a day. Mainly for stimulating new growth. Works well alone, even better for men who use it with Propecia or Women who use it with Tricomin Stimulates growth despite hair loss, while Propecia stops the cause of hair loss. Both work well alone and better together
Tricomin
Men or Women
Topical spray also used as a growth stimulant and great addition to any Propecia/Rogaine regimen for men, or Rogaine regimen for Women. Lots of good science backing Tricomin. Shortens resting phase of follicles. Great alternative to Rogaine for Propecia/Rogaine users, or addition to any regimen.
Nizoral
Men or Women
Nizoral is a must for *every* regimen. Get it at your grocery store shampoo aisle. Maintains scalp health, eliminates inflammation, itching, etc which can destroy effectiveness of Propecia and other treatments. We can't state this enough, Nizoral is a must with every regimen. Use once every 3 days in rotation with normal shampoo.

  Add a little Kick

Want that extra kick? Don't like the whole pharmaceutical approach? Willing to take a chance at some great gains? There are only a handful of unproven treatments out there that have *any* potential to help. We've included them below. These are a great addition to any Proven treatment regimen:

About
Tip
Concealers
Men or Women
Concealers are a great way to hide that little bit of thinning for a night out on the town, or that important business meeting. No if's, and's or butt's about it, these things work, and are very cool.
Revivogen
Men or Women
Great addition to Propecia regimen as this is a potent *topical* DHT inhibitor, while Propecia can work simultaneously to inhibit DHT systemically. Just like Propecia, this DHT inhibitor takes time to work. People saw best results after 6 months use.
Crinagen
Men or Women
Another variation of DHT inhibiting treatments, Crinagen has its own combination of ingredients that are a good addition to a proven regimen. Another alternative topical DHT Inhibiting treatment.
Folligen
Men or Women
From the makers of Tricomin, Folligen comes in Cream, Spray, and Lotion for various applications. Mainly to stimulate growth and another great addition to a proven regimen. Cream for hairline application, Spray for overall use, Lotion for bald spots.
Shampoo's
Men or Women
Aside from Nizoral there are a couple shampoo's we strongly recommend. Revivogen Shampoo has been the most highly praised for customer satisfaction on our site, with Tricomin Shampoo coming in a close second. You have to use Nizoral once every 3 days. Wouldn't hurt to use one of these on the "off" days.

All of these treatments must be used religiously for 8-10 months at the very least before you can expect to see results. Legitimate treatments take time to work. Losing your hair is a slow process, so gaining it back or stopping it is very slow as well. Propecia can take up to a year to work. A few of them can cause initial shedding as well, so the key is to stick with it no matter what. They work. They've been proven to.
