I have had thinning on the top for about 2 years. I do have a Mirena IUD that I got about 4 months before I noticed my thinning alot. I went to see a hair loss specialist at Duke and she but me on spiro 200 mg a day and vitamin E and suggested I try Rogaine for men if I was not happy with the Spiro results. She guaranteed results if i use both together. It has been 8 months on Spiro and shed has slowed but not stopped and no new growth. I am afraid to start Rogaine because of the Dread Shed and we are going to Disney in september and am afrid of thinning alot before then.
