I am 29 years old and I have been diagnosed with alopecia totalis. I lossed all of my hair recently. Back in August I noticed a little round bald spot. As the days went on the spot became bigger and bigger. I was losing hundreds of hairs a day. I wore a hat to work so no one would notice. I was so scared because I had no idea what was wron with me. I did not have health insurance so i hesitated about going to a doctor. When I finally went to a doctor they told me that it was stress related or hormonal. I had blood work done to rule out the causes of my hair loss. Everything came back fine. I was healthy. My hair was pretty much gone by this point. On Christmas day I could no longer take it.
